On Sunday 18th May about 40 households across the villages of Great Chishill, Heydon and Chrishall, took part in what Sarah Scott, the organiser, called ‘The Big Sale’.
It was an opportunity for folk to have a good clear out and offer all manner of things for sale or for free. People came from far and wide seeking bargains. Refreshments were available at St Swithun’s, The Pheasant and The Red Cow.
The event was not just a way of getting rid of stuff but was also quite a social event. The picture above is of one of the stalls in Heydon, just one of the 40 participants.
