The Great Chishill Bell Restoration Project aims to renovate the historic bells of St. Swithun’s Church, including adding a new sixth bell, with a fundraising target of nearly £100,000 to be achieved by next February.
The village celebrated “Windependence” on August 15th, marking the windmill’s ability to turn automatically to the wind, with a community picnic, games, and music, after the event was postponed from its original July 4th date.
