David McKeown, who led the renovation of the village’s Windmill and chaired the Great Chishill Windmill Trust, is leaving the village, and the Trust is seeking someone to help increase the Windmill’s social media presence, with Jeff Gill and John Wahlich taking over as Chairperson and Vice Chair, respectively.
A full church gathered on 10th August for the funeral of Janet Crouch, whose contributions to the church and village were honored with half-muffled bell ringing, and she is remembered as a loyal friend and exemplary Christian, leaving behind her husband Brian, family, and many friends.
