Midsummer Ball
A huge and very heartfelt thanks to all who came, enjoyed, supported and contributed to the wonderful evening that raised £9,500 for the church refurbishment appeal fund. We (the organisers) have received many emails and texts and have had many a conversation reflecting on an evening that was enjoyed by so many in our community.

There are some very useful and very unusual contacts for women; hats, bags and scarves, wonderful for all occasions. Excellent hair dressers for men and women, bespoke jewelry (ideal for a gift). Step in Time is highly recommended for anyone who suffers any kind of pain, particularly back, knee, neck and feet problems. North Norfolk Disabled Holiday homes, idyllic spot for an ideal and easy holiday. Please do take time to have a look you never know what you may find.
Mad Hatters Tea Party
We were delighted that so many people of all ages came to enjoy the music of Saffron Walden County High Jazz Band, the story teller Gillian McClure, the tea, the BBQ and bar and the activities at the Mad Hatters Tea Party which raised about £1000.
Taking the total to over £10,500 raised over the weekend.
