A visiting group of bell ringers successfully rang a peal at St Swithun’s on March 10th, coinciding with three village celebrations, including a golden wedding anniversary, a birthday, and an engagement.
The County Council plans to withdraw the subsidy for the 31 bus in September 2013, promising to consult with the community for alternative transport solutions, although current subsidy cuts have yet to present viable alternatives.
