The Pit Club, a local secret organisation, has resurfaced to plant 150 donated saplings in the Chalk Pit, a rare woodland area, with the help of The Conservation Volunteers, a national charity focused on transforming green spaces in the UK.
The Pheasant public house is set to reopen soon under the management of Stuart and Jenna Johnson, who aim to revitalize the village hub with a soft opening planned for April 19th, following a long period of closure.
