The St Swithun’s Appeal ‘Good Old Fashioned Auction’ successfully raised £2,000, bringing the Appeal Fund closer to its £50,000 target, with over 300 lots auctioned by TV auctioneer David Palmer.
The Annual Parish Meeting highlighted stable finances with a £34k reserve, challenges like stalled telecom projects and planning delays, but also successes such as a £600,000 saving from shared waste services with Cambridge City Council.
