After the 3 May local elections, Chishill welcomed two new Parish Councillors, Jean Wiseman and Bob Hatt, while previous Chair James Coney narrowly lost his seat, and the village is now part of the District Council’s Foxton ward with Deborah Roberts as their independent councillor.
The Church Appeal Committee announced that the restoration work on St Swithun’s tower is nearing completion, with plans to further enhance the church facilities by installing a kitchenette and creating a welcoming space for community use, supported by generous donations and grants.
