The historic church bells of St Swithun’s were temporarily displayed for the public before being sent for a complete renovation, funded through local fundraising efforts, with plans for their return in time for the Jubilee celebrations in June.
The Icknield Way, an ancient trackway and one of the “four highways” of medieval England, is highlighted as a significant historical route crossing six counties and serving as a 170-mile walking trail linking various national trails.
