Great Chishill DCC has received £29,700 from the Heritage Lottery Fund to begin urgent repairs on the St Swithun’s church tower, with plans to apply for a full grant later this year to cover the estimated £352,000 project cost.
Rector Andy Colebrooke has announced his retirement from stipendiary ministry, with his last Sunday service scheduled for 18th September, after seven fulfilling years in the parish.
